Gregory Capra: My Effective Push Ups

Dear visitors of Workout Inspiration,
even though my website www.gregory-capra.com is only in French for the moment, I want everybody to know that I can and that I am already delivering online advice worldwide in English. Use this service and mail me at manager@gregory-capra.com!
As an illustration, I want to explain you my secrets as to one of the most popular exercises: push-ups in USA, press-ups in UK!
1. Lie chest-down with your hands at shoulder level, palms flat on the floor and slightly more than shoulder-width apart, your feet together and parallel to each other.
2. Look forward rather than down at the floor. The first contact you make with the floor with any part of the face should be your chin, not your nose.
3. Keep your legs straight and your toes tucked under your feet.
4. Straighten your arms very fast as you push your body up off the floor. Keep your palms fixed at the same position and keep your body straight. Try not to bend or arch your upper or lower back as you push up.
5. Exhale as your arms straighten out.
6. Pause for half a second only.
7. Lower your body VERY slowly towards the floor. Bend your arms and keep your palms in fixed position. Keep body straight and feet together.
8. Lower body until chest touches the floor. Try not to bend your back. Keep your knees off the floor, and inhale as you bend your arms.
9. Pause for 2 seconds (Here's the secret of proper and efficient push ups!). Begin straightening your arms for a second push-up. Exhale as you raise your body.
Best,
Gregory Capra

Exclusive Interview with Gregory Capra: "I'm a Lucky Guy"

Gregory, how did you spend your birthday?
I was very busy on that day: workout in the morning as usual, exam in the afternoon. I got the driving licence which allows me to ride a 1,000 cm3 motorcycle I'm dreaming of. And finally a shooting with an American photographer and editor. They knew that it was my birthday and offered me green beans!
What's your attitude towards your birthday: Do you think about the past and the coming year, or do you just celebrate?
For me it’s a day like the others. My friends congratulate me. But I have no special thoughts about the past or the future, and there's no celebration.
What are you planning for this year in your job?
After returning from my holidays I'll be very busy. I have a lot of new clients for personal training that will begin in September. In this year I’d like to consolidate my company in France, and I have some business abroad. Therefore my website needs to be translated into English. If anybody is interested in translating it, he's welcomed.
Do you have any private goals?
Hard to say, it’s a part of my life I do not control as much as my job. The past year was already important, as I left my parents’ house to rent a flat in the south of France.

I am ashamed of my pecs and calves. I think they are too small!
How often and how long do you work out?
Due to my job, I can’t workout from Thursday till Saturday. I'm in Paris on these days. So I go to the gym about five times on the other days, for 1 1/2 hours each time. Moreover I run one hour once or twice a week.
You hire a lot of personal trainers in France and in Europe. With how many trainers do you cooperate now?
I cooperate now with about 10 trainers in the biggest French cities: Paris, Lyon, Marseilles, Nice, Bordeaux, and some more.
How does this cooperation work? Do you meet all these trainers?
The first selection of the trainers is done by one of my friends, and I attend the last interviews. Then I teach the trainers my method, before they have their first sessions with clients. I'm continuously in contact with the trainers and the clients. I meet my trainers, because I like perfection. So I want them to improve. I’d like it, if they were my clones. (Gregory smiles)
Do you look for even more trainers?
Definitely yes! I'm getting more and more clients, so I need more and more trainers, but I am very selective! I want them to be graduated, easy going, reliable, and they must set an example to the clients regarding their attitude towards sports, nutrition, and way of life.

Because of my connections in sports and modeling. I'm quite known in Paris, as I’ve been on magazine covers and on websites. And the traffic of my own website is pretty good.
What is your main occupation: modeling, personal training or consulting on your website?
Personal training is my main occupation, more than 95 % of my time, if you include face-to-face training and the management of my company.
And what occupation do you like best?
I’m a lucky guy. Personal training is my favorite occupation.
What's your biggest wish for your personal future?
I’d like to stay in good health, and I wish my friends will do the same. I want my parents and my friends to live as long as possible.
Now you have the opportunity to ask Gregory whatever you want! And Gregory will surely answer you. The best questions will be posted here. Send your question directly to Gregory:

Gregory Capra: Top in All Disciplines

And that's only one of Gregory's big number of skills. Self defense and martial arts belong to the latest services on his fitness website www.gregory-capra.com, which he's expanding all the time. There he and his trainers offer consultation in fitness, sports and health. They do it online as well as face-to-face in France and Europe. You'll hardly find a coaching page which is so versatile and where you get offered profound advice in so many fields and disciplines.
You can ask Gregory and his partners how to lose fat and to gain more muscle mass, as well as how to improve your endurance and to optimize your nutrition. They show you how you get amazing abs, as well as how efficient swimming and aquagym work. They teach you tennis and all kind of athletics, and now even self defense and martial arts of the kind which is exactly right for you.
Motivation and quick progress
That's one of Gregory's major goals: to satisfy the special needs and wishes of his clients. And he heads for quick progress. But progress which is reasonable and without risk. Therefore consultation is adapted to the individual shape and condition of each client. And if you begin to doubt whether you're made for fitness at all, Gregory and his team know how to motivate you.
Individual and human work
Gregory promises a lot, but there are several striking - and actually convincing - points: The 22-year-old personal trainer sets value on being on familiar terms with his client. He's only satisfied, if the client is satisfied. He wants him to feel comfortable, paying attention to all his special needs and his personal condition. This means: Gregory Capra, the man himself, is convincing; not only his profound knowlegde and his adorable shape, but also his charisma which is youthful, professional and above all human. And Gregory doesn't rest. He tries to advance all the time and is seeking new trainers and fitness experts for his website and his activities.
Gregory Capra is actually top in many disciplines. But there's one discipline, in which he distinguishes most from other fitness experts. It's the human one.
Get consultation for your special needs in fitness and health, or become one of his trainers. A visit on his website helps: www.gregory-capra.com

Gregory Capra: Bonjour Coach!
You shouldn't hire Gregory Capra as your personal trainer. You shouldn't hire him, because your friends may get jealous. Gregory is a young and pretty good-looking workout coach. The 22-year-old model is much in demand: fashion presentations, advertisements, art photography.

But Gregory is above all highly qualified: His big number of certificates give an impression of his profound knowlegde: Experience in a wide range of sports and mainly in bodybuilding. He has been working as a personal trainer in Paris and in Southern France for three years now.

Gregory's own, stunning physique is one proof for his skills. His philosophy seems to work. His philosophy, that's a special mixture of passion, determination, even rigour, and humour. He knows to push his clients, to motivate them. But he also knows to listen to them. Perhaps that's his most important quality: The young, French guy is open-minded. He regards life as a constant learning process. Above all for himself.

For those people who don't live in France and can't meet him in a gym, he has just launched his own workout site www.gregory-capra.com. There you get
online advice for all aspects of fitness: consultation for training routines, fat loss, cardio, building up muscle mass, better definition, nutrition and diet. And you can easily ask him about other sports too. Did I mention that Gregory is versatile? A question concerning football? Or athletics, judo, volleyball, climbing, sailing? He has done all of it. You mean motocross? Well, seven years practice. Therefore it might be better to change the beginning of this article: You should hire Gregory as personal trainer. Your buddies simply have to cope with it.
