It All Begins with Joy

Photo (c) Richard Rosssan
Dear visitors,

I'm very glad that the mixture of WI works. The mixture of motivating high-quality photos, information, demonstration videos and above all the portraits of impressive fitness guys and their useful advice.

The mixture seems to work, as I have so many regular visitors. I'm very glad and grateful. Detailed information and discussion about the thousands of workout subjects can be found on many other, brilliant sites and boards. But I think, at the beginning of successful workout and sports must be: joy! Joy, passion and fun, and some goals. Goals like: "Wow, this guy looks great! I would like to have his shape. Let's see how he does it!" I'm convinced, if you work out with joy and motivation, progress will be bigger and sooner. All what we do is easier and more successful, if fun and passion are in the game.

So stay inspired and motivated for your workout by the fitness guys presented here on WI. What will you see in the upcoming posts? For example an interview with Pavel Hochman from CzechYoungMuscle.com, and pretty hard, but very successful exercises for big arms shown by Andrew Aponick from Allamericanguys. And I have a lot of more ideas and plans for WI in 2007. Thank you for visiting.

Gregory Capra: Top in All Disciplines

It's better not to attack this man in the street at night. He's not only a good-looking model and top athlete, he can also fight: Gregory Capra is expert in self defense and martial arts.

And that's only one of Gregory's big number of skills. Self defense and martial arts belong to the latest services on his fitness website
www.gregory-capra.com, which he's expanding all the time. There he and his trainers offer consultation in fitness, sports and health. They do it online as well as face-to-face in France and Europe. You'll hardly find a coaching page which is so versatile and where you get offered profound advice in so many fields and disciplines.

You can ask Gregory and his partners how to lose fat and to gain more muscle mass, as well as how to improve your endurance and to optimize your nutrition. They show you how you get amazing abs, as well as how efficient swimming and aquagym work. They teach you tennis and all kind of athletics, and now even self defense and martial arts of the kind which is exactly right for you.

Motivation and quick progress

That's one of Gregory's major goals: to satisfy the special needs and wishes of his clients. And he heads for quick progress. But progress which is reasonable and without risk. Therefore consultation is adapted to the individual shape and condition of each client. And if you begin to doubt whether you're made for fitness at all, Gregory and his team know how to motivate you.

Individual and human work

Gregory promises a lot, but there are several striking - and actually convincing - points: The 22-year-old personal trainer sets value on being on familiar terms with his client. He's only satisfied, if the client is satisfied. He wants him to feel comfortable, paying attention to all his special needs and his personal condition. This means: Gregory Capra, the man himself, is convincing; not only his profound knowlegde and his adorable shape, but also his charisma which is youthful, professional and above all human. And Gregory doesn't rest. He tries to advance all the time and is seeking new trainers and fitness experts for his website and his activities.

Gregory Capra is actually top in many disciplines. But there's one discipline, in which he distinguishes most from other fitness experts. It's the human one.

Get consultation for your special needs in fitness and health, or become one of his trainers. A visit on his website helps: www.gregory-capra.com

DVD Review: Pavel Hochman

Pavel rests. He's exhausted and sitting on the incline bench. His pecs are pumped up, and he's breathing deeply. But then he decides to do one more set and takes even heavier dumbbells. That's only one of the many fascinating scenes on the workout DVD Training, Relax, Contests & Modeling starring the young Czech bodybuilder Pavel Hochman.

The DVD from Petr Holman's CzechYoungMuscle.com is so fascinating, because you get the feeling that all occurs in real time. You are close to all what happens: You are close to Pavel's workout in the gym, to his shower after the training, to his preparation at the Aminostar Cup 2006, to the other bodybuilders and his competitors in the pumping room, to the performances of the young guys on stage. The atmosphere before and during this contest is a highlight on the DVD.

Pavel doesn't act because there is a camera filming him - He works out, flexes or hangs out, as if there was no camera, and we may watch him. That's very well photographed by director Petr Holman and gives you the feeling that you are actually on location and see one day in the life of the 21-year-old bodybuilder.

Pavel himself is very likable: reserved, but also cool and funny. He smiles while flexing his pumped up muscles and is obviously proud of them. But Pavel also has the qualities which an aspiring star bodybuilder and athlete needs: He's disciplined and very concentrated while working out hard. Pain must be. Therefore: one more set. And Pavel takes the heavy dumbbells once more and lifts them on the incline bench. Again and again. This man is actually strong. And his career as a successful bodybuilder and model long in the making.

Shane: Barcurls for Biceps

When Shane is talking, you instantly see that this guy is a bodybuilder. You see it, because the sleeves of his brown t-shirt are so tight. They're too tight and too short, and can't hide his big biceps which are slipping out of them, whenever Shane moves his arms or hands while speaking. And he's proud of his biceps and smiles when he's flexing. Every workout enthusiast would be proud of them.

Shane from Allamericanguys is only 19 years old and already champion bodybuilder, having won both the NPC Max Muscles and Muscle Mania in the teen division, both in 2005. Shane is reserved, but relaxed and cool, and pretty intelligent. His studies in school are his number one priority, and bodybuilding and modeling are secondary endevours.

Here you see him working out his biceps with barcurls:

He can't hide his muscles, even if he wants to disguise himself as Santa Clause: Jiri Borkovec from CzechYoungMuscle.

DVD Review: Jiri Borkovec - My Body? ...My Life!

After watching Jiri Borkovec's DVD My Body? ...My Life! you are disappointed. You are disappointed because after these 85 extremely fascinating minutes, your body hasn't transformed into such an amazing physique like Jiri's one. Apart from that the DVD is fantastic.

The DVD is very extensive: You see the 20-year-old Czech bodybuilder posing, flexing, working out, relaxing, oiling, pumping and performing at a competiton. And you see above all one thing: his stunning and massive physique every workout enthusiast is dreaming of.

In each focusing director and producer Petr Holman succeeds in presenting Jiri in the very best light. You actually get the feeling that the sunlight is following Jiri - and not vice versa - when he's moving his body. The guy is cool. His smile is nice and cheeky, as if he was thinking: Look, I've pretty big muscles, don't I?

The workout part is very useful for everyone who wants to build an amazing body. You learn Jiri's special approach to bodybuilding. He shows his basic exercises for the main muscle parts and exact technique of their implementation. That's how professional bodybuilding works! Jiri performs his favorite and most successful exercises, he explains how many repetitions, how many sets and why. All that is valuable information for your own workout. And you learn that this guy is working hard to be one of the best young bodybuilders.

The look behind the scenes reveals more of his personality, of his very special mixture: Jiri is boyish, reserved, determined, disciplined. When you see him kidding and smiling, nobody can grudge him any success. On the contrary, in these moments you are thinking: Yeah Jiri, take the Cup! Go for it, it's yours!

"Hi, my name is Jiri Borkovec", the 20-year-old bodybuilder simply introduces himself at the beginning of the DVD, "I'm juniors vice-champion of Bohemia region and the Czech Republic." After watching the DVD you know that this man is much more than that.

Big Ray: Update

Heavy weights, a high number of repetitions, or many sets? We don't know yet Ray's secret of gaining so much muscle mass. Anyway, his success is amazing.

Myles Hannaman: Big Legs

In the gyms you see a lot of bodybuilders with great biceps, pecs and abs - but often they have quite skinny legs. They just want to impress with a big upper body and neglect leg exercises. The result looks quite ridiculous mostly.

Myles Hannaman, bodybuilder from Allamericanguys, is an expert in working out legs. In various impressive clips on AAG he's demonstrating his exercises for massive, big legs.

Leg extensions:

Leg extensions with more weight:

Leg press:

Squats:

Myles explains: "Form is more important than how much weight you put on." After the exercises he takes off his shirt and his gym shorts. In his black thong he looks like Tarzan with all his big, perfectly defined muscles. Myles flexes his pumped up legs, claps with his hands on them and proudly says: "Now they look big! That's massive and thick. I like that. They're like rocks!" And he smiles: "With such legs you can go on stage or impress women on the beach."

You find many high-quality photos and videos with Myles on Allamericanguys.
